The Fluval 3 Plus Internal Filter is a powerful and economical submersible filter. It is easy to care for, quiet, and effective. The Fluval 3 Plus Internal Filter is a great aquarium filter for any small aquarium, turtle or reptile tank with up to 34 gallons of water. The Fluval 3 Plus Internal Filter has a flow rate of 185 gph and uses 120v/6.5watts. The double filter cartridge comes with two foam pads and allows for alternate replacement for continuous biological filter activity. The filter cartridge also has a designated area for optional filter media such as Polyester Filter Pads or Special Carbon Filter Pads (not included). The Filter Cartridge also features a clogging indicator that will indicate when the filter media needs to be changed. The 90 degrees Swivel Spout directs the flow output and allows a change of flow pattern in the aquarium. The Water Flow Adjuster can be used to increase or decrease the flow output for feeding or other requirements. An Air Flow Control Device is also included to create a Venturi Effect for added aeration. This Fluval 3 Plus Internal Filter is specially designed to sit vertically or horizontally.
